I know most us will already know this but it's good to jog our memories!
It's a good idea when in conversation remember to have pen & paper with us. It may be very necessary at the moment.

Stories for lipreading. There are lots of stories on this site and it is fun and interesting.
Keeping in touch with friends and family is very important too. Skype and Face time can be very useful here. I used facetime for the first time on Sunday. It was great to see my daughter and be able to talk to her. Really great!!!
Face time was on my iphone. I have Skype on my computer but I haven't used that yet.
Text and emails are also very good too and for those who can hear better we can use the telephone.
