Lipreading Practice

A quiet time

02 April 2020

Over the last few weeks I suspect that we have all been watching the unfolding saga of the virus. We ae linving in strange times at the moment.

I have tried to remain positive and look for things to celebrate.  We have had some really good weather recently and I have tried to make time to sit in my garden. I realised that I can hear the birds so well. We live on the flight path of a fairly busy airport and now there are very few flights. This means we can hear the birds much more easily. It is so lovely to hear the different bird sounds.  Once a few days ago my husband heard a skylark singing high above us.

It is also good to feel the warmth of the sun.

Thinking of you all and my thoughts also go to the wonderful medical staff and carers who are on the frontline at the moment and to all others who carry on working so that we can still have what we need to live. Thank you all so much for all that you are doing for us.

Keep safe and let us look forward to happier times.
